John Donoghue

I write historical fiction based in the 20th century. My first novel, The Death's Head Chess Club, concerned a gifted Jewish chess player in Auschwitz and has been translated into 11 languages. My next novel, with a title still to be decided, is set in Argentina in the time of the disappearances in the late 1970s.
